Mudgee Miniature Railway

The Mudgee Miniature Railway is a three and a half, and five inch gauge miniature railway giving rides behind steam, petrol and electric powered miniature trains. The railway operates depending on the weather on the second Sunday of every month. All those boarding must wear enclosed shoes for safety reasons. The railway is a non-profit co-operative.

The Mudgee Observatory

The observatories and buildings were all constructed by John Vetter who has over 45 years of astronomy experience. Seeing the moon close-up, using his high-end telescope equipment, the image is amazing!
